About

NicoDon't you love snowy days? Building snowmen, having snowball fights, getting the day off school (that's what everyone likes the most, isn't it?). As much as you like snowy days is how much I like design.

My name is Nicolas Pin, though most people know me as just Nico, and SnowyDay Design is where, since 2006, I take your ideas and turn them into something you can see (and love!). That guy on the right is me. Not too shabby, eh? I have to thank C.C. Chapman that photo.
I'm a very visual guy. I always, always have a camera on me. First a trusty Olympus D100 (with which I did a very interesting daily photoblog project), then the low-light-king Fuji F30, and now the wonderphone Nokia N82 — and they all have names. My friends have stopped complaining about me taking pics and videos years ago.

I specialize in web design, specifically Wordpress, and I also do identity and print design. I'm very easy to work with, but don't take it from me, here's what my clients say:

Nico, I have worked with graphic artists before, and I've always had to iterate many times before hitting something that I like. This is the first time that I was blown away with the first draft.

Thank you so much. I wanted a blog that looked very different from all other tech blogs. This is definitely that!

Thanks again - the site is a huge improvement from what I had - the design, the blog, and the ease of updating text - those are the three things that I really wanted changed, and you succeeded 100 percent.

I wouldn't make a design move without Nico. After successfully working up [chrisbrogan.com] into a site where I've received several kudos for the look and feel, including lots of blog posts with link love, there's no way I'd build another website without Nico there to help. In fact, he's helping me launch my next few projects, as well. It's now a checkbox on my steps for designing a site. Step 1. Come up with the concept. Step 2. Beg Nico for some time in his busy schedule. You need to add Nico to your Step 2.

What Nico does best: take a client's ideas - whether they are in bullet format or just ruminations from a chat session - and implement them to create stunning, remarkable results.

This site runs on Indexhibit. I also have a personal blog where I do more vlogging that writing. I told you, I'm a visual guy.
